BALPPA is preparing to host its annual summer conference this month, which it says is a high point in a busy year for members. The event takes place on the 25th – 27th June in the New Forest.

Participants will enjoy a range of networking opportunities and events, as well as visits to popular nearby attractions such as Paulton’s Park and the Spinnaker Tower. There will also be a visit to Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard including the HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. Members are invited to a gala dinner at Beaulieu’s Motor Museum, as well as a golf day and a BBQ dinner.

Paul Kelly, Chief Executive of BALPPA, said: “These type of events are always very popular with our members. Sharing best practice in the industry benefits everyone and creating a strong and collaborative network is as useful today as it has ever been.”

Supporting members

BALPPA runs several events for its members throughout the year. These can range from residential conferences and educational seminars to evening receptions. The programme of events aims to encourage best practice, networking and the sharing of expertise.

Recent events include a marketing seminar at Longleat as well as a crisis management day at its offices in London. BALPPA supports knowledge sharing, professionalism and profitability through subgroup meetings, online forums and networking events. It also provides members with advice, information and services.

BALPPA also hosts an Autumn Conference. This year’s event will take place on the 1st – 2nd October. It will be held at the new Boulevard Hotel at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Attendees will also enjoy a visit to Barton Grange.

BALPPA recently named The Rainbow Trust to be its official charity for the next two years. The children’s charity provides support to families who have a child with a terminal or life-threatening illness. The new Chairman, Richard Mancey, selected the charity.
