BALPPA Excellence Awards return to Drayton Manor

On November 26, the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) will bring its Excellence Awards back to Drayton Manor.

This will be the second year of the awards programme, focusing on companies operating across the UK. Building on the success of the 2017 event, the awards ceremony will be preceded by at the Drayton Manor Hotel by the one-day BALPPA Attractions, Leisure, FEC & Indoor Play Trade Exhibition.

“Both are now flagship events within the BALPPA  calendar,” says the association’s chief executive, Paul Kelly. “This business awards programme is judged by an independent panel and most finalists undergo an unannounced visit by customer service and experience specialists Insight6.”

BALPPA Excellence Awards will be presented  this year across 10 categories, including FEC Attraction of the Year, Employee of Excellence, Supplier of the Year Supporting Excellence, Innovation , Inclusivity, Early Years Healthy Futures, BALPPA One to Watch, Digital Communication & Presence.

Tickets for the evening’s awards dinner can be booked by contacting fec@balppa.org. Winners will be announced at balppaexpo.co.uk. The accompanying exhibition takes place from 9.30am to 4.30pm and is free to attend if you register before November 24. It will also include a series of bite-size seminars. See the speakers here. Get there early and you can also take advantage of a networking breakfast at 8.15am.
