Barco, the technology company focusing on innovative visualization solutions for different applications, is expanding its LED portfolio.
Barco is pleased to announce that it is introducing an extended LED portfolio, with five new models addressing a range of indoor LED applications. Over the last year, the company renewed its focus on high-res LED technology with the launch of the premium XT series. It also announced a new partnership with Chinese LED manufacturer Unilumin.
XT series
Barco’s XT series narrow pixel pitch LED tiles have been developed to provide quality visuals, alongside reliability and flexibility. The company has utilised its expertise in LED technology to optimise Unilumin hardware, creating seamless viewing experiences. The Infinipix LED image processing solution is proven in the field, offering consistent levels of performance under all circumstances.
In addition to this, Barco’s EssentialCare service package provides up to seven years of batch compatible replacement, giving operators peace of mind.
New models
The newly announced XT-E and XT-HB expand on these benefits, in order to meet the needs of various segments, such as control rooms, TV studios, meeting rooms and more. XT-E is the entry-level platform, a cost-effective but high-quality option for LED projects that don’t need high brightness or advanced features, thanks to its tiles with 1.2, 1.5 and 1.9mm pixel pitch.
Then XT-HB offers brightness levels of up to 1500 nits, ideal for full daylight and very light environments that require high-brightness LED. This range includes two models with higher pixel pitches – XT1.9-HB and XT2.5-HB. The XT-HB can be used for viewing from longer distances, and in set-ups where narrower pixel pitches aren’t essential.
