Birdly VR, the one-of-a-kind full-body VR experience, and D3D Cinema have announced the latest addition to the North American Birdly network – the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
Birdly VR and D3D cinema are pleased to add the Denver Museum of Nature & Science to the network of institutions able to offer cutting-edge virtual reality experiences to visitors. The North American Birdly Network already includes popular attractions such as the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Tech Interactive in San Jose and Science World at TELUS World of Science in Vancouver, amongst others.
Birdly VR is a unique full-body VR experience which couples advanced robotics and simulation technology to create a realistic sensation of flight. Users are able to command the flight experience instinctively by moving their arms and hands. D3D Cinema specializes in immersive cinema and VR experiences for museums, aquariums, zoos, science centres and other attractions worldwide.
A truly immersive experience
“We just installed Birdly a few weeks ago and it’s already a hit,” says Eric Boen, Director of Technology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. “It’s truly unlike any other virtual reality experience on the market, both in terms of its immersive nature and the quality of programming. Everyone from children to grandparents have been thrilled to fly like a pterosaur in Birdly’s Jurassic Flight experience, and we are pleased.”

One of the experiences available through the Birdly VR platform is Jurassic Flight, which drew crowds earlier in the year when it launched at Cincinnati’s Museum of Natural History & Science.
