The Expo in Milan, Italy will focus on finding innovative solutions for feeding the world in a sustainable fashion, highlighting the basic human right to have access to food that is healthy, safe and sufficient.  The EU commissioned BRC Imagination Arts to develop a series of theatrical and immersive activities to promote efforts to grow a better future for everyone.

BRC Imagination Arts has a 30-year track record of creating award-winning films and the company’s World Expo client list includes United States at Aichi Expo 2005 and Shanghai Expo 2010; China Mobile and China Telecom at Shanghai Expo 2010, and many others.  Two of the company’s live-action short films, “Rainbow War” and “Ballet Robotique” (1986 World's Fair in Vancouver, BC), were nominated for Academy Awards®.

The 'The Golden Ear' animated film was produced by two-time Academy Award® nominee Bob Rogers and directed by BRC Imagination Arts Executive Creative Director, Christian Lachel.  The family film centres on the story of two characters, Sylvia, a scientist, and Alex, a farmer, and showcases EU agricultural policies, R&D and global food assistance.  Over 2, 000, 000 visitors are expected to visit the EU pavilion.

Commenting on the project, Lachel said, “The EU wanted to provide their main message through a more comprehensive story-driven approach, something that is a lot more fun, with character, heart, and entertainment.”

Bob Rogers will be speaking at blooloopLIVE London 2015.
