Guangzhou Chimelong Water Park has announced that it will reopen for the summer season on May 29. The water attraction has also teased an upgrade, and will launch special fares before June 15.
Chimelong Water Park in Guangzhou features world-class water attractions, including the new family-friendly play and climbing area, Rock Wheel.
Guangzhou Chimelong Water Park will open between 10am and 6pm daily. However, the water park will be limited to 30 percent capacity.
Strict sanitation measures will be implemented throughout, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Health Commission.

The attraction is also implementing various new operational standards, including online booking, health registration, and temperature checks.
As above, visitors are asked to purchase tickets online and in advance.
Chimelong Resort later announced that the indoor projects of Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and Guangzhou Chimelong Wildlife World would reopen from May 15.
Online booking, temperature checks amid COVID-19
As part of safety measures at Chimelong Resort, visitors must have their temperature taken and book online in advance.
Masks must be worn by all guests, and social distancing observed within the attractions. Visitors must observe guidelines while queuing and follow staff instructions.
Chimelong Resort urges all guests to “wear masks, wash hands and keep a distance to create a civilised, safe and hygienic tourism atmosphere”.
However, the announcement on Chimelong Water Park’s reopening makes no reference to face coverings, potentially suggesting that masks will not be required at water attractions, despite COVID-19.
