Christie Provides Laser Phosphor Projectors for Heritage Park Model, China

Global visual and audio technologies company, Christie Digital Systems, has provided projectors to a new national heritage park in China’s Henan province. 

The five Christie GS Series laser phosphor projectors provide an impressive back drop to a 130 square meter sand table model of the ancient city of Luoyang. 

Christie laser Phosphor Projectors at Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage Park The 1:800 scale model is located in the Sui and Tang Luoyang City National Heritage park that contains full scale reconstruction of the original nine story Ming Tang and Tian Tang Towers. 

Full HD resolution brings life-like visuals such as blue skies, birds in flight, ships sailing on the river and mountains in the background to life on the projected backdrop of the model, installed by Christie’s partner Wincomn Technology.

"The deciding factor was its 20, 000 hours of low-cost operation, which was exactly what the end user was looking for. At the same time, the GS Series' other advantages such as long-lasting brightness, accurate colour reproduction, image quality, 24/7 reliability, as well as blending and warping capabilities for curved surfaces, make it the perfect projection solution for such location-based entertainment venues, " he added.
