Global visual and audio technologies company, Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc. has launched a brand new Cinelife projector that brings premium movie experiences within reach of mainstream cinemas.

Featuring CineLife electronics and RealLaser illumination, the CP4325-RGB delivers blockbuster image quality at an affordable price.

According to Allan Fernandes, Senior Manager, Product Management, Global Cinema, at Christie, it is the most advanced laser projector on the market:

ā€œUsing next generation, pure red-green-blue direct-emitting laser technology, the CP4325-RGB offers the most authentic and immersive cinema experience for the mainstream market. It offers all the advantages of a high-performance laser projector in a compact ā€˜all-in-oneā€™ form-factor.”

Cinelife projector – ‘a game-changing proposition” for mainstream cinema

One of the real breakthroughs by the Christie R&D team was dispensing with the need for any external cooling. This significantly reduced both complexity and cost without compromising on reliability, longevity or image quality. The CP4325-RGB boasts an impressive operational life of more than 30,000 hours. This comes with only a 20 percent loss in brightness over this time.

In addition, it delivers a contrast ratio of up to 6000:1. It also provides better uniformity and a wider colour gamut than other cinema projection systems.

What’s more, the compact design of the Cinelife projectorĀ means that it can be easily integrated into standard cinema booths.

Other benefits include Christieā€™s new CineLife Series 3 electronics and embedded cinema automation for streamlined playback, scheduling and content management.

ā€œThe CP4325-RGB is the forerunner of a line of Christie RGB pure laser projection solutions intended for mainstream cinema applications. As such, it is an ideal replacement product for exhibitors wishing to upgrade existing installations, as well as for new-build cinemas and retrofits,ā€ explains Brian Claypool, Christie’s Vice President, Product Management, Global Cinema.

ā€œWith its compact footprint, long operational life, increased performance capabilities and elimination of consumables, the CP4325-RGB is a game-changing proposition for mainstream auditoriums.”
