Brunswick Bowling & Billiards is pleased to announce that CLUB SEGA Kokura in Fukuoka, Japan, was recently opened by SEGA Corporation and is the first entertainment facility in that country to offer Virtual Bowling by Brunswick.
Club Sega Kokura is an entertainment complex situated on the second and third floor of a commercial complex called “ASOBOX.” The second floor, named “Nakatsuguchi Night, ” installed two lanes of Virtual Bowling and features a sports bar, billiards, other virtual reality sports games, karaoke, and food and beverage service. Virtual Bowling was installed with comfortable sofa-style seating and tables, allowing customers to enjoy food and beverage offerings while participating in the game.
Virtual Bowling combines the popularity of bowling with today’s high-tech video and simulation games. Complete with realistic sounds, bowlers roll a ball down a shortened lane, where sensors detect the speed and direction of the ball as it enters the virtual world. The lanes at CLUB SEGA are outfitted to support regulation bowling balls, offering players the most high-tech, fun bowling experience possible, in one of the area’s hottest entertainment facilities.
