Theme Park Tourism in the MENA Region Report from Colliers International

News
Colliers Theme Park Tourism MENA

With the Middle East investing in mega theme parks to attract visitors, Colliers International have produced a report looking at the developments in the sector.  Theme Park Tourism has key facts and figures and looks at the impact of theme parks on tourism in the MENA region.

Commenting on the report, Sean Young, Head of Destination Consulting, Colliers International, said, “The growth in both indoor and outdoor theme and entertainment parks in the Middle East has been very significant in the past few years, as the research from our Colliers colleagues in the region suggests. The UAE is taking the lead but countries such as Qatar and Oman are also investing heavily in a bid to attract both GCC and international tourists. A country that may surprise us in the next decade is Saudi Arabia. With the launch of the 2030 Vision, there are many plans for new parks and attractions aimed at increasing domestic tourism whilst also reducing outbound tourism.”
