Connect&GO post-covid contactless whitepaper

Connect&GO, a leader in RFID solutions for the leisure, sports and attractions industry, has produced a new whitepaper on contactless solutions for a post-COVID-19 world.

Connect&GO is pleased to announce that it has launched a new whitepaper, entitled “Are you Ready for a Post-COVID-19 Reality?” This tackles some of the challenges that operators will face once they reopen after the crisis has passed, such as guest fears over hygiene and crowding.

The paper outlines how the company’s contactless solutions can help, using RFID technology to provide access control virtual queueing, cashless payments, capacity control and more.

Benefits of contactless solutions

By using touchless self-serve kiosks to buy their RFIC wristbands and place orders for food, guests can avoid unnecessary contact. Cashless transactions mean that there is no need for physical cash or interactions between guests and staff. Visitors can tap and pay using their wristbands with the Connect&GO cashless payment system.

The company’s contactless solutions can also help to limit time spent in crowds by implementing virtual queueing systems. Guests simply reserve a spot for the attraction they are interested in and will be notified by text message when they reach the front of the virtual queue. This avoids crowded queues forming and also frees visitors up to enjoy their time on-site.

In addition to this, operators will benefit from RFID capacity control features. Visitors can scan in and out of various areas, giving a real-time snapshot of how many people are in each part of the attraction.

Finally, contactless solutions will help attractions to send the right message to visitors, at a time when building confidence is critical. Guests will be reassured by visible efforts to manage the situation and ensure their safety.

Connect&GO also recently announced that it is working with the Quebec Institute for Logistical Innovation (IILQ) to create a solution for hospitals dealing with the coronavirus crisis.
