Canadian company Connect&GO has launched a smart ticketing system for the leisure and entertainment industries. The GOtix platform will be demonstrated on booth #7021 at this week’s IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando.

“After the successful launch of Parkpass at the 2017 IAAPA show, it was only logical for us to offer our clients an innovative and more complete end-to-end solution,” says Connect&GO’s CEO, Anthony Palermo. “Gotix is a fully integrated solution that encompasses the entire guest experience.”

GOtix offers upsell opportunities

The customisable ticketing platform offers season passes, memberships and group ticket sales. The integrated OI (operational intelligence) module developed by Connect&GO allows ticket sellers to take advantage of upsell opportunities to generate increased revenue. The platform creates package options according to a buyer’s profile, as well as the profiles of similar buyers.

“The key advantage of using our solution,” says Connect&Go’s Dominic Gagnon, “is that it is fully integrated with our RFID wristband platform which includes access control, cashless payments and experiential. By adding smart ticketing, we are offering a simple way for the guest to purchase a ticket, add funds directly onto their wristband and take advantage of many other features.”

Connect&Go around the world

In addition to ticketing, the GOtix ecosystem includes a smart self-serve silicone wristband dispenser. The patent-pending machine also distributes cards and paper wristbands.

Connect&Go’s RFID wristbands are deployed as a method of payment at large-scale events such as the Super Bowl, in the Olympic Village and at various music festivals. The company also boasts permanent installations with clients including Owl’s Head Ski Resort and Six Flags.

This month, Connect&Go’s Parkpass system will go into use as the Coaster Pass at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London.
