Connect&GO, a leader in RFID solutions for the leisure, sports and attractions industry, has announced three strategic appointments within its executive committee.

Connect&GO is pleased to welcome three highly experienced new team members, including the former Ticketpro President. Mathieu Dupuis has taken on the role of Vice President of Products & Technology, François-Pierre Moffet is the new Chief Operating Officer and Sébastien Auger has been appointed as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“In order to deliver on our growth plan for the next few years, we needed a world-class executive committee with a proven capacity for strategic thinking,” says Dominic Gagnon, Co-Founder of Connect&GO. “With the addition of these three leaders, everything is in place for us to reach our objectives.”

Mathieu Dupuis

Dupuis graduated in 2000 with a degree in computer science from UQAM. The former President of Ticketpro has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, starting as a programmer for Théâtre St-Denis and going on to start his own ticketing company, Billetterie Première Loge Inc. When his business was acquired by Ticketpro, Dupuis was promoted to President of the company. In this role, he helped Ticketpro to become the biggest independent ticketing company in Quebec.

“After close to 20 years as an entrepreneur and president of a ticketing company, I made the decision to join an ambitious company with international goals,” says Dupuis.

François-Pierre Moffet

Moffet is a world-class COO who joins Connect&GO from Sofdesk. Here, he was responsible for implementing several management processes and leading a team of skilled executives. After obtaining a degree in computer engineering in 1997 and a masters in engineering management in 2007 from l’Université de Sherbrooke, Moffet began his career at CAE.

Here, he worked his way up to the position of Director of Learning Solutions, before moving to SNC Lavalin in 2012 to serve as Director of Project Management. Moffet then went on to spend four years and a project manager and consultant in the mobile communications, finance and insurance sectors, as well as playing an important role on the council for Agile Montréal.

“I felt that I had accomplished what I needed to at Sofdesk and the Connect&GO offer came at the right time. I was motivated by the challenge and the opportunity this role provides as I join the team as partner and COO,” says François-Pierre Moffet.

Sébastien Auger

Auger has a degree in business administration from HEC Montréal (1999) and an MBA from the l’Université du Québec à Montréal (2013) behind him, as well as a strong track record in sales. He has worked for a number of leading companies, such as L’Oréal and Sagemcom. His most recent role before joining Connect&GO in 2016 as Director of Growth was with Sponsorium, where he worked as VP of Business Development.

“After three years working with us to achieve international growth, it was the right time to promote Sébastien to partner and Vice President of Sales and Marketing,” says Anthony Palermo, Co-Founder of Connect&GO. “His leadership and experience in partnerships and business development is exactly what we needed to lead the team and strategise going forward.”

As well as these new hires, Connect&GO has also promoted Denis Gallico, one of the first employees at Connect&GO, to the position of Director of Permanent Installations. It has also appointed Marc-André Dubé to the role of Sales Engineer and welcomed back former employee Arthur Evenard who takes on the post of Tech Team Leader.

Connect&GO acquired Dator Inc. earlier in 2019, adding a Repentigny office as well as 20 new developers and technologists to the team. It will be hiring for several other roles in the coming months as it continues to grow.
