D-BOX adds motion seats to more US movie theatres

D-BOX Recliner moton seat

For the first time, D-BOX Technologies is adding reclining motion seats to two full cinema auditoriums in the US.

The first installation is slated for November at the Maya Bakersfield Theatre in California. The second will be in December at the Maya North Las Vegas Theater. This should mean the venue will be equipped with the seats just in time for lucrative holiday season.

D-BOX will also be adding recliner seats to a fully-renovated auditorium at the Boulevard Mall Theatre with Galaxy Theatres in Las Vegas. Furthermore, the Canadian company is working with the Galaxy Riverbank Luxury IMAX Theatres in California to increase the number of recliner motion seats in one of its auditoriums.

This will take the number of screens worldwide equipped with D-BOX seats to over 700. That includes over 700 screens in Germany alone and 126 screens across Latin America.

“It’s great news for more and more moviegoers, who will get to experience an unforgettable, immersive experience built around a proven, innovative way to watch the latest blockbuster movies,” says D-BOX president and CEO, Claude McMaster. “Most fans who purchase D-BOX tickets come back again and again.”
