Digital Projection, a specialist in laser projectors, will showcase their latest technology at Integrated Systems Europe 2020 (ISE).
Returning to the RAI in Amsterdam from the 11th-14th February 2020, Digital Projection will give the first public EMEA showing of its Satellite Modular Laser System (MLS).
The Satellite MLS uses a few simple building blocks to allow users to address a variety of applications. It can be used on single projectors to complicated multi-channel domes, caves and simulators. By separating the light source to a different location, the Satellite MLS has a compact projection ‘Head’ that consumes little power.
The small projector ‘Head’ is compact, quiet and lightweight. This means it is easier to install and transport. It also allows greater flexibility for the operator, especially if space and access are limited. The Satellite MLS also has enhanced system longevity, reducing the need for frequent servicing.
Visitors to the show will be able to see this new projection system in action in Hall 1, F90.
Virtual Reality at the ISE
New to this year’s ISE show is the ‘VR at ISE’ section in Hall 14. At stand B100, visitors on the trade show floor will be able to see two of Digital Projection’s MultiView VR systems. Using a single projector with ultra-fast frame rates, multiple viewers are tracked and shown the image that remains appropriate to their changing position. Users can see and interact with the same image from different areas, creating a collaborative environment. The MultiView technology also means that the resolution of the images is of the highest standard.
On the trade show floor, one of Digital Projection’s MultiView systems will allow guests to walk around and manipulate a virtual object. The other will show how this technology can be used in a visitor attraction space by allowing visitors to virtually explore buildings and artifacts.
Attendees of ISE will also be able to experience an interactive VR theme park ride designed by Lightspeed Design, that uses Digital Projection’s E-Vision Laser projectors. Visitors will experience an immersive aquatic environment at stand B120 in Hall 14.
