Pioneering visual solutions company, Digital Projection, has appointed Simon Hutchinson to the post of Sales Manager, UK & Ireland.
Hutchinson has been tasked with overseeing and developing the business in the company’s home territory.
He brings 20 years’ experience to his new role. Most recently, he was AV sales specialist manager at SCC, Europe’s largest independent technology solutions company.
Hutchinson described Digital Projection as a ‘true industry leader’ and said he was thrilled to join the company:
“It is exciting to be part of a team which is really at the forefront of projector technology, constantly developing innovative new products and pushing the industry forward. There are some brilliant new products in the pipeline and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to facilitate their launch to market.”
Digital Projection is looking to further consolidate its presence in the UKon the back of substantial growth in recent years. The company says Hutchinson’s strategic position is central to its plans to further build the channel. Additionally, he will be growing relationships with distributors and system integrators to drive success going forward.

Hutchinson will primarily be based at the company’s headquarters in Manchester.
