Dream Island has officially opened in Moscow, Russia. It is Europe’s largest indoor theme park and features nine areas with rides, attractions, shops, and F&B.
Dream Island launched in 2017 and was built on a site of 100 hectares. The indoor zone covers an area of 300,000 square metres.
Themed areas include Fairy Tale Village, Smurfs Village, Lost World of Dinosaurs, Hotel Transylvania, Snow Queen’s Castle, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hello Kitty, Abandoned House, and Dream Race.
“The launch of Dream Island is one of the most anticipated events not only in Moscow,” said Amiran Mutsoev, chairman of the board of directors at Dream Island.

Mutsoev added that Dream Island “will become the undisputed leader of the national entertainment industry due to its unique concept and high socio-economic significance”.
“Our project will also become a significant driver for the development of the city’s infrastructure, one of the main leisure spaces for visitors of all ages, as well as a world-class tourist attraction.”
Dream Island is home to more than 15 cafes, restaurants and food trucks serving themed F&B. It also houses 11 shops selling souvenirs, toys, homeware, jewellery, clothes and accessories.
In addition, the theme park has a city promenade with the building facades inspired by Barcelona, Beverly Hills, London and Rome.

Dream Island’s city promenade will later welcome a cinema with 17 screens and a concert hall with a capacity for 4,500 people.
Opening in spring is a landscaped park covering an area of 44 hectares and with access to the embankment of the Moskva River.
The landscaped park will have areas for sports and outdoor recreation, views of the water, children’s play complexes, fountains, an artificial pond, an outdoor movie theatre, and F&B.
In the second phase of the project, the embankment will be improved and additions include a modern hotel, a children’s yacht school, and a banquet and concert hall.
