Dronisos, a leading drone light show specialist, has broken the world record for drones flying indoors simultaneously during a recent drone light show.
Dronisos is proud to announce that it has set a new record for the number of drones flying indoors at the same time, breaking the current record of 160 by flying 200 drones simultaneously. The record-breaking occurrence took place in a drone light show on 24 June.
The drone light show celebrated the 3rd edition of the San Giovanni Festival and was broadcast on national TV in Italy. It was choreographed by Antoine Marc and Silvia Gribaudi.
Record-breaking drone show
Dronisos is a team of specialised storytellers, who use drones to paint with light. The company creates compelling and immersive narratives by using cutting-edge technology and can produce both indoor and outdoor events. Safety and environmental stewardship are key focuses for the company, and being able to break the record despite strict COVID-19 safety measures is a real achievement.
Dronisos has created a range of shows for clients across the globe, including leading theme parks in Europe and Asia, and is currently preparing a large scale outdoor show in the south of France. It is ready to rise to any artistic or technical challenge in order to create a unique and memorable experience.
Drone light shows are ideal for theme parks and other attractions. As parks begin to reopen, events such as these are a memorable way to welcome visitors back after the coronavirus closures.
“We put this show together behind closed doors in the facilities of our partner Aerocampus in the south of France, with the ambitious goal of simultaneously conveying a lot of emotion and pushing the limits of our technology,” says Laurent Perchais, Dronisos CEO.
“We are very proud to set this new world record for the indoor choreography using the largest drone swarm, as we used 200 drones for this show while the previous record was a display using 160 UAVs.”
Last year, Dronisos announced the opening of its new office and training centre in Orlando, Florida.
