Dronisos sees big potential for drone shows in Middle East

The French company Dronisos is heading to next week’s DEAL trade show in Dubai with high hopes for its drone light shows following recent projects in the Middle East.

To date, Dronisos has delivered 10,000 drone shows across the world, making it one of the European leaders in the field. If you were at last September’s Euro Attractions Show in Amsterdam, you may have seen some of its drones featured in the event’s opening ceremony.

Recently the company provided displays on Arabs Got Talent (screened across the Arab world) and at the HIPA Award Ceremony in Dubai. Last November, it also delivered the first drone show in India during the Odisha Hockey World Cup.

Dronisos CEO Laurent Perchais believes some of the Middle East’s theme parks would be the perfect platform for his company’s unique form of entertainment. “In [the region], people are really into new high technologies and love drone shows,” he says. “That’s why we think that the Middle East is a large market and a really good opportunity for us.”

Drone shows offers several benefits for parks and attractions operators, adds Perchais. “Our automated shows run smoothly several times a day, fully integrated into our customer’s shows control systems”.

Based in Bordeaux, Dronisos has been providing indoor and outdoor drone shows for three years.
