Dynamic Attractions Breaks into Tourism Destination Market with Seattle’s Newest Attraction

News

Dynamic Attractions, leading creator of rides and attractions, has entered North America’s tourist destination market with the grand opening of ‘Wings Over Washington’.

The new attraction, which opened to the public on 25th August 2016, is located at Miner’s Landing at Pier 57 in Seattle next to the Great Seattle Wheel.

The ride is an aerial adventure soaring over Washington State including the seaside cliffs of Elliott Bay, the Olympic National Forest, the San Juan Islands, the Cascades and Snoqualmie Falls, the Tieton River and the Walla Walla Valley Balloon Stampede.

“We create immersive, media-based attractions for the world’s largest theme parks, ” states Guy Nelson,  Dynamic Attractions President and Empire Industries CEO.  The company has built 50 major attractions for clients such as Disney and Universal Studios.

“We are now bringing our flying theatre entertainment product to major tourism destinations.”

In addition to building for theme parks, Dynamic Attractions has sold three flying theatres to major tourist destinations, with one in Macau and another currently being built in Miami.

“We expect locations that draw large numbers of tourists, such as Seattle’s spectacular waterfront, to be a growing part of our business, ” adds Nelson.

Kyle Griffith, Vice President of Great Western Attractions, and co-owner of Miners Landing at Pier 57 said “We are thrilled to offer both tourists and residents an unforgettable experience of the many wonders of our great state. This ranges from not only a scenic perspective but an historical, cultural, and educational one as well.”

Visit Seattle President and CEO Tom Norwalk added, “With Wings Over Washington visitors of all ages can enjoy our beautiful state like never before. It is a one-of- a-kind experience that is sure to be a highlight for anyone visiting Seattle.”

Dynamic Attractions worked with a team including Director and Producer Brent Young, President and Creative Director of the multi awarding-winning creative entertainment studio Super 78. Together they created the technologically advanced ride, which uses 6K cameras, innovative art laser projection, drones for image capture, MUSHROOM VR™, and a ground-breaking surround sound system.

This year, as well as expanding into tourism destinations, Dynamic Attractions have opened its world-class Attractions Development Center in Orlando, Florida. The 32, 000 square foot facility will soon include an ‘experience’ studio with fully operational rides.
