Exhibits Development Group, the creator of travelling exhibitions and experiences, has announced the appointment of Ditte Anker-Svendsen, Elizabeth Schmidt and Jennifer Severtsgaard to its global growth team. The company has also unveiled plans to expand further into Europe, Russia and the Middle East
EDG is calling these new hires a ‘triple threat’. Ditte Anker-Svendsen will serve as the company’s Director of Exhibition and Business Development, Europe. Jennifer Severtsgaard joins the team as sales-marketing coordinator and executive assistant to the CEO. Elizabeth (Lisa) Schmidt will be a part of EDG’s CultureNut Xchange.
A special set of skills
Anker-Svendsen is an archaeologist who has previously directed major projects in Bahrain, Egypt and Iraq. She will operate the EDG European operations from Copenhagen, Denmark. Part of her role as Director of Exhibition and Business Development, Europe, will be to tend to the company’s long-standing partnerships in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. She will also host the EcSite Annual Conference, taking place from 6th-8th of June 2019.

Jennifer Severtsgaard is a cultural advocate, activist, and pop culture guru. In her new position as sales-marketing coordinator and executive assistant to CEO, she will play a key role in the company’s expansion into Europe.
Lisa Schmidt will be a pioneering ambassador as part of EDG’s CultureNut Xchange as the platform develops. She has a strong background in entrepreneurial start-ups and education. She also brings with her experience in managing operations for an institution supporting those with educational-emotional challenges.
Historic venues opened
EDG has also announced the opening of historic venues in Minnesota. The company was selected by Rochester City Council and Destination Medical Center (DMC) to provide an educational and cultural exchange to the newly restored Chateau Theatre, which dates back to 1927. EDG will also be working on projects for St. Paul’s historic Union Depot train station in a two-phase roll-out.
AAM Annual Meeting and Museum Expo 2019
EDG will be present at this year’s AAM Expo, with new projects to showcase including A Queen Within. This new exhibition features more than 100 articles of fashion, photography, and video, presented in dramatic gallery design. The company will also be unveiling CultureNut Xchange, which provides museums with a solution for upcycling through buying and selling of inactive assets. EDG will be at booth number 2129 when the expo takes place in New Orleans, May 19th -22nd.
