Embed welcomes LaDonna Whitaker and her new team of sales professionals

Embed, a leading worldwide supplier of point-of-sale and revenue management systems has announced an impressive new line-up of sales professionals, marking a new chapter for the business.

Embed is pleased to welcome some new faces to the sales team as it expands its presence around the world. The company has spent the last 25 years developing its global organisation in order to meet the demands of its clients and the industry. This is the first in a series of announcements regarding professional appointments.

“We’ll be introducing a number of exciting innovations that are designed to deliver a superior guest experience that will disrupt our industry, ” says Renee Welsh, CEO, Solutions Group. “We are completely focused on providing tailored solutions to help Operators drive more profits for their business by increasing their revenue, reducing their costs and achieving their business goals.”

New Sales Director

LaDonna Whitaker EmbedLaDonna Whitaker will serve as the Director of the North America and South America Sales Divisions. She brings with her several years of experience in Technology Sales transformation and strategy. Early on, Whitaker was part of the Expedia Corporate division start-up. Here she focused on 10 technology sales and bringing onboard other 10’s. This included a small start-up that developed from an unknown business into an industry leader, salesforce.com. Whitaker also led a sales team at Virgin America, signing key accounts and taking market share from industry leaders to develop the company. She learned from Sir Richard Branson, “If I can do that, so can you” – a perfect manta for her own ambitious, can-do nature.

“It is a thrill to join a company on a mission to “Transform the Business of Fun” and know that I will be part of making that happen,” says Whitaker.

A strong sales team

Also joining the team is Susan Hesson, who will be taking on the role of Sales Executive. Hesson brings over 20 years of sales management and technology experience with her to the role.  In her new position, Hesson will use her understanding of sales strategy to drive growth. “I am excited by the additional knowledge Susan will bring to the team and how it will elevate the entire Sales function,” says Whitaker.

Carl Ewaskowitz will be joining Whitaker’s new team of sales pros as Sales Administrator. Ewaskowitz has more than 20 years of experience in event planning and sales administration. “Carl is process-focused, excellent with customers and can manage events like no other. He’s efficient, reliable and quick to get things done. Carl will be an excellent anchor to the sales team,” says Whitaker.

Embed is dedicated to growing its global presence, and recently announced several appearances at trade shows and events for the second half of 2019. The company is looking forward to showcasing its cashless business management solutions around the world this year. This includes the following dates for North & South America:
