Endurescreens, a specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of world-class projection screens, has appointed Ronald Potgieter as its new Project and Quality Control Manager.

He brings over 15 years of industry experience with him, allowing the company to reinforce its position within the entertainment and planetarium sector.

In this role, Potgieter will support the company’s clients in project management, assisting with the complete process from factory production acceptance to site inspections and screen acceptance at completion.

A strong background

Potgieter began his career as a junior technician and gained relevant experience across the globe as he progressed to a senior professional. He has worked in markets around the world, including South Africa, China, Russia, the USA and Europe. He is known for his attention to detail which, alongside his technical knowledge, will help to ensure that Endurescreens’ clients receive quality projects.

Talking about his new role, he said: “When the fantastic opportunity to join this international company arrived, I knew this was a chance not to be missed”.

Potgieter has moved his family to join him in Budapest, where the company is headquartered. “As he will be based in Budapest Hungary, he is perfectly situated to travel across the globe to service all our projects,” said Lei Yin, the company’s Sales Director.

In a statement on the appointment, a spokesperson for the company said, “To provide high-quality projection screen solutions to our clients has always been our main focus. Having Ronald join to the team with years of strong industry background, we believe we will take our quality control services to the next level.”

Endurescreens also recently released a statement on the coronavirus pandemic, making clear that it is committed to working closely with its clients throughout the crisis.
