Falcon’s Creative Group to work with the new National Geographic Encounter

National Geographic Ocean Odyssey

The company has been selected to provide show design for National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey in New York City’s Times Square.

The creative team is being led by SPE Partners.  Ocean Odyssey is a ground-breaking immersive experience that takes visitors on a stunning underwater journey. Falcon’s Creative Group’s work for the project ranges through design development, media pre-production, and show design coordination.

National Geographic Ocean Odyssey sealion interactionNational Geographic Encounter enables people to get face-to-face with its greatest wonders and most incredible creatures.  The Times Square venue spans 60,000 square feet.  The creative team is pushing technological boundaries with mega projection screens, video mapping, 8K photo-real animation, immersive sound and interactive “real-time” audience tracking.  The latter enables guests to get interactive with a range of sea creatures, from rays and dolphins to sea lion, humpback whales, Humboldt squids and great white sharks.  The experience ends with a giant dome finale.

National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey is scheduled to open in October 2017.
