Frontgrid, an expert in adventure leisure and virtual reality attractions, has announced that ParadropVR has launched at Landmark’s new indoor amusement centre in Hyderabad, India.
Frontgrid is pleased to announce that its immersive flight adventure, ParadropVR, has made its Indian debut, thanks to the Landmark Group. The attraction is now available at Landmark’s new 70,000 square foot indoor amusement centre, Tridom, located at the Sarath City Capital Mall in Hyderabad, India.
Visitors to the new centre will be able to experience the innovative VR paragliding experience, and it has already been praised by the first guests.
Tridom is operated by Citymax Hotels in India, which is part of the Landmark Group. As well as ParadropVR, the new centre includes cutting edge indoor rides and interactive games for all the family.
Indian debut
This latest installation of ParadropVR is its first installation in India, following on from the launch of the first ParadropVR City Flyer, which is now entertaining visitors at the King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok, Thailand.
ParadropVR is designed to assist indoor entertainment centres in attracting both new and repeat visitors. This unique attraction allows guests to experience an immersive paragliding adventure as they take part in an interactive skill-based game. It also includes an integrated ticketing system and app.
Frontgrid recently attended IAAPA Expo Europe in Paris, where it showcased four new ParadropVR games, including the new City Flyer and Desert Flyer experiences. Delegates at the show were impressed with the ride, and nearly 300 attendees experienced it for themselves during the event.
A leading leisure attraction
Landmark Group CEO, Silvio Liedtke says: “We’re delighted to be launching India’s first ParadropVR at Tridom. Our goal is to offer the most innovative, exciting and state-of-the-art games and experiences to teens and kids, so it really is a great fit.”
“Since launching in 2017, ParadropVR has quickly established itself as the leading adventure attraction for leisure and entertainment brands,” adds Frontgrid CEO, Matt Wells. “We’re delighted to be working with Citymax Hotels India and Landmark Group at this exciting new location, and look forward to seeing the results.”
Earlier this year, Frontgrid announced the launch of Malaysia’s first ParadropVR, which will be available at Sky VR, Resorts World Genting from Autumn 2019.
