Leisure Expert Group creates spectacular Gaia stage for Electric Daisy Carnival

Leading experience design and production company, Leisure Expert Group, has partnered Insomniac to create the main stage for America’s biggest dance festival.

This is the 4th consecutive year the two companies have joined forces for Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC).

Held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Nevada desert, the event attracts around 400,000 partygoers every year, eager to soak up the festival experience.

Featuring the huge figure of Gaia with arms outstretched, the stage is over 130 metres wide and 30 metres high and features over 900m2 of video mapping.

Over 130 feathers adorn the figure, designed, engineered and produced by the Leisure Expert Group. The feathers change colour, providing a spectacular backdrop for the headliners throughout the night.

EDC is a heady mix of art and music, with eight music stages, interactive art installations and a variety of attractions, food stalls and bars. Partygoers can even get married in the festival grounds.
