Gantner Ticketing, provider of software for museums, zoos, cultural heritage and visitor attractions, has entered the French attractions market with a new project at Cap Sciences in Bordeaux.

Gantner Ticketing is pleased to announce that it has been selected to provide the ticketing, booking, shop and entrance system for Cap Sciences, a centre for scientific, technical and industrial culture based in Bordeaux, France.

The Ganter team are currently working remotely to complete the project during the coronavirus outbreak. Once completed, the new system will integrate several different elements for the attraction, including bookings for its Fab Lab and financial interfaces.

Cap Sciences

Cap Sciences is a popular visitor attraction, founded in 1995. It provides guests with a range of educational and cultural programmes, and aims to widen people’s awareness of science and technology

The centre is approved by the Ministry of Education and Research and runs on-site, travelling and online exhibitions and workshops. Its programmes of events, visits and encounters allow visitors to explore a variety of scientific and technological themes.

Recent projects

Gantner also recently completed a project for the popular Belgian theme park, Bobbejaanland. The company provided a complete solution for the park. This included point of sale with ReCreateX software, allowing the park to process ticket sales, memberships and bookings. The new system also has a user-friendly front end that can be easily adapted by the park.

In addition to this, Gantner’s solution included payment kiosks for car park tickets, car park management with database-driven barriers, and an integrated access control system.

Gantner Ticketing also completed a successful partnership with Plopsa – Studio 100, the theme park division of Studio 100. Its state-of-the-art software application, ReCreateX, provided a total solution. The project has enabled Plopsa theme parks to enhance their business operations, simplify the customer journey, and provide a more streamlined guest experience.
