Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced that it will be showcasing a range of ticketing software, admission control and revenue-generating solutions at the 2019 AZA Annual Conference.

Gateway Ticketing Systems is pleased to be heading to this year’s Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) Annual Conference when it takes place in New Orleans from the 7th – 11th September. The AZA annual conference is sponsored by the Audubon Aquarium of the Americans and the Audobon Zoo. The event is the largest and most comprehensive zoo and aquarium professionals’ event in the country. Attendees will benefit from valuable networking and learning opportunities, as well as a large trade show floor.

“Gateway Ticketing Systems has a strong and vibrant user community within the zoo and aquarium attraction space,” says Jamie Flaherty, Manager of Business Solutions. “We always love attending AZA to reconnect with those customers, and to meet with other prospective customers to help understand what hurdles they are facing and discuss how we can help resolve those while also increasing attendance and revenue.”

Solutions tailored for zoos and aquariums

One of the products that Gateway will be highlighting at the event is its Galaxy Ticketing and Admission Control software. This provides a configurable suite of solutions that suits the needs of zoos and aquariums. For example, it gives them the ability to sell tickets through multiple sales channels and validate them on admission. It also brings together ticketing, food & beverage and retails sales.

Gateway provides robust functionality when it comes to membership management, as well as streamlined scheduling of groups, tours, bookings and events. The company has been developing its solutions for over 30 years and has recently been working on its Reporting Plus and CRM Plus modules. These allow operators to collect transactional data from the ticketing process in the form of actionable reports, in order to influence business and marketing strategies.

The company will also be showcasing Galaxy Connect. This award-winning cloud-based platform is able to connect zoos and aquariums with any number of third-party distributors with a single integration. This means they will have the ability to sell live tickets anywhere in the world. Connect customers have already sold $300 million in ticket revenue.

Special gift

Gateway is also offering a special gift at the event, available to existing customers when they bring a potential new customer to the company’s booth. It will be also be distributing copies of the AZA 2019 edition of the Beyond the Barcode Industry Newsletter. This publication is printed on 100% recycled and recyclable paper and offers tips on designing your venue entrances, selecting kiosks, access to video tutorials of the software and more. Gateway will be at Booth #424.

Gateway also recently announced that it has been chosen to provide the ticketing and admission control systems at The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.
