Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has provided a sneak peek at what attendees can expect from its offer at the AZA 2020 Virtual Annual Conference.

Gateway Ticketing Systems is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring and exhibiting at this year’s Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Annual Conference, which will be a virtual event. The conference takes place from 14 – 18 September 2020.

In order to make the digital event engaging and relevant, Gateway has several offerings for attendees, including a new video, a virtual happy hour and a special edition of its popular Webinar Wednesdays podcast.

The Galaxy Guest Experience solution

The company has released a new video, showcasing those features of its Galaxy Guest Experience solution which are ideal for zoo & aquarium operators. Viewers will find out more about how Galaxy can efficiently meet their ticketing, marketing and operational needs, as well as learning about how it collects guest data. This means that users can personalise each visit.

At the show, Gateway will also be holding a happy hour on Monday 14 September, from 5 – 7 pm EST. This will be hosted by Derek Chapin and Jamie Flaherty from Gateway and will be an opportunity for friends and colleagues from the zoo & aquarium sector to catch up with friends and colleagues.

The company will be presenting a special episode of its Webinar Wednesdays series at the show. This will feature Randy Josselyn, Matthew Hoenstine and several experts from the zoo & aquarium sector, looking at best practices for providing a quality guest experience, both before and after reopening. Speakers from The San Diego Zoo and Aquarium of the Pacific have already been confirmed. Registration is available here.

Meet the team

Gateway has also created a live video chat option that will allow attendees to video chat with the team every day of the show, between 11 am and 5 pm. Attendees can click on the link for Live Video Chat in the Gateway virtual booth, and they will enter a Microsoft Teams session where someone from the team will be available to chat.

Finally, the company will be running a Cutest Pets of AZA 2020 Photo Contest at the show. Attendees can submit their cutest household pet photos for a chance to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card and can also vote for the winner.

Gateway Ticketing will be represented by two industry veterans at this year’s show: Derek Chapin, Business Solutions Manager, and Charlie Broschart, Partner Development Manager. Other Gateway team members, including Jamie Flaherty, Kelly Bules, Randy Josselyn, Steve Bell and Chad Wallace, may also make an appearance during the event.

Gateway’s Salespeople, Chad and Steve, will also be available for pre-booked meetings. Attendees can pre-schedule a time to speak with them at the show here.

Earlier this year, Gateway announced the launch of its new online store for attractions, Blueshift. This is designed to make it easy for operators to sell timed and capacity tickets.
