Gateway to Provide The Franklin Institute’s Ticketing and Access Control

The Franklin Institute, which dates back to 1824, is one of the oldest science centres in the USA as well as Pennysylvania’s most visited museum. Now, its visitors – who number over 850, 000 annually – will have their experience enhanced by the implementation of Galaxy™, Gateway’s  flagship point of sale and admission control solution.

Guests will be able to choose whether to purchase their tickets online before their visit using the venue’s eGalaxy Web Store, or onsite at the Institute.The Franklin Intitute will employ Galaxy for order entry, membership, access control and resource management as well as front gate and consumer and mobile online sales.

Key to the Franklin Institute’s decision to work with Gateway – the world leader in admission control and ticketing software for the attraction, amusement, and transportation industries – were Galaxy’s resource management functionality and full-featured group scheduling.
