Hill International Awarded $22.7m Contract by new National Museum of Qatar

Hill International, the global leader in managing construction risk, has been awarded a four year  $22.7 million (QR $82.7million) contract by Qatar Petroleum, on behalf of the Qatar Museums Authority, to provide construction management services  for the new National Museum of Qatar.

Hill International The new National Museum of Qatar, scheduled to open in 2015, will celebrate the culture, heritage and future of Qatar and its people, reflecting the country's prominent role in the Arabian Gulf community.  

The innovative design for the new museum, created by architect Jean Nouvel, was inspired by the desert sand rose.  

Raouf S. Ghali, President of Hill's Project Management Group (International), said, "We are honored to have been chosen to assist with the construction of this iconic monument to the nation and people of Qatar."
