IAAPA opens nominations for 2020 awards programmes

IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, is now welcoming nominations ahead of its 2020 awards.

IAAPA is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards, IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award and the IAAPA Service Awards. This annual programme of awards recognises attractions professionals from across the globe who have made an impact on the industry.

IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards

The IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards celebrates individuals who have made a key contribution to the global attractions industry. Winners need to have been involved with the sector for 10 years or more and to have had a significant and lasting impact in innovation, education, leadership and/or influence. The deadline to nominate a person for this category is 13 July 2020.

IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award

The IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award is given to members under the age of 35 who have showed their dedication to the global attractions industry. This could be through leadership, teamwork and integrity, alongside a commitment to increasing their knowledge and experience.

Nominees should be a strong advocate of the association and its aim to support, grow and nurture the attractions industry. They must also work for an IAAPA-member company or be an individual member of the association. Nominations for the IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award must be made by 13 July 2020.

IAAPA Service Awards

The IAAPA Service Awards, including the IAAPA Lifetime Service Award, the IAAPA Outstanding Service Award, and the IAAPA Meritorious Service Award, are designed to recognise individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to IAAPA and to the global attractions industry. The deadline for this category is 31 July 2020.
