IAAPA Virtual Conference

IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has launched two virtual events: IAAPA Virtual Conference: The Americas and IAAPA Virtual Conference EMEA and APAC.

IAAPA is pleased to announce the launch of two new virtual conferences this September, featuring multi-day online educational experiences. IAAPA Virtual Conference: The Americas will be held from 2 – 3 September 2020, and IAAPA Virtual Conference: EMEA and APAC will take place on 22 – 24 September.

This is a chance for attractions professionals to take part in virtual educational sessions and networking events within their own regional time zones

Making connections

“Connection is more important than ever, and IAAPA remains focused on creating valuable experiences and events for the global attractions industry,” says Hal McEvoy, president and CEO, IAAPA. “IAAPA Virtual Conferences are great opportunities to bring our community together and deliver relevant content and programming for continued learning, growth, and networking.”

IAAPA Virtual Conference: The Americas will take place over two days and include eight educational sessions, as well as two networking opportunities. Attendees will gain insights on relevant topics such as customer service, trends, innovation, and crisis management. Sessions will be available in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.

For more information and registration details, click here. The cost is $99 for members and $149 for non-members, and the fee includes access to all sessions after the event finishes. There is also a marketplace for manufacturers and suppliers, at a cost of $249.

The three-day IAAPA Virtual Conference: EMEA and APAC includes over 20 educational sessions, with keynotes, insights and discussions, as well as virtual networking events. It will feature sessions on leadership and team management, attractions operations, digital marketing and more, as well as behind-the-scenes virtual EDUTours. Registration will open later this month.

Educational sessions during IAAPA Virtual Conference: The Americas are eligible for six credit hours toward IAAPA Certification and sessions at IAAPA Virtual Conference: EMEA and APAC are eligible for 15 credit hours.

Last week, IAAPA also announced that it is working to gain aid and support for the attractions industry, which has been hard hit by the pandemic, and has once again written to Congress on behalf of its members.
