Imagine Leisure, a leading leisure consultant and developer, is hosting an Innovation Session at next week’s blooloop V-Expo.

Imagine Leisure is proud to be involved in the first-ever blooloop V-Expo, where it will be hosting an Innovation Session looking at the future of the leisure industry after the COVID-19 pandemic. The blooloop V-Expo features a full schedule of expert speakers from across the attractions industry, as well as discussion panels, live Q&As and networking sessions.

Imagine Leisure will be holding a session called COVID-19, the Savior of the Leisure Industry. This will take place in the Innovation Auditorium on Tuesday 13 October at 5 pm BST, presented by Carolien Nederlof and Raymond Oude Groen, co-founders of Imagine Leisure. It will also be followed by a live Q&A.

The impact of COVID-19

The last few months have been the most impactful period in recent decades for the leisure industry. Most attractions, museums, water parks, theatres and indoor playgrounds were forced to close, and reopening has been limited if at all possible.

Each business and every institution is affected by the impact of the COVID-crisis, in various degrees. What will the future of the leisure sector look like? Will institutions and companies survive these blows? Or will the need for leisure become greater in the coming years?

In this session, Imagine Leisure will look at how companies can emerge from the crisis stronger than before, what the new role of attractions and museums will be and how the pandemic could actually be the saviour of the leisure industry.

Imagine Leisure recently worked on the upcoming refurbishment of Leisurepark Roosendaal, an FEC in the Netherlands.

Registration for blooloop V-Expo, a unique virtual event for the attractions industry, is still open, and the three-day event is free-to-attend. The full programme, which is available here, features expert keynote speakers and insightful discussion panels, as well as a fun quiz from Two Bit Circus, a virtual fun run and the announcements of the Blooloop 50 Theme Park Influencer and Museum Influencer lists.
