WildBrain CPLG has partnered with Osool Entertainment to create LBE attractions based on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed in Saudi Arabia.

WildBrain CPLG, a leading entertainment, sport and brand licensing agency, is brokering the deal on behalf of Ubisoft.

Under the agreement, Osool Entertainment will develop three new indoor attractions inspired by Assassin’s Creed in Saudi Arabia.

Set the launch in spring 2021, the LBE offerings will be located at Osool Entertainment’s indoor adventure parks, Fizz.

The immersive attractions at Fizz will include an Assassin’s Creed-themed parkour course, as well as rope and ninja courses.

They will be highly-themed, giving visitors the chance to relive the video game franchise’s first instalment.

Ubisoft has launched 16 Assassin’s Creed video games since the first release in 2007. The movie version starring Michael Fassbender was released in 2016, and a live-action series in in development at Netflix.

Neesha Law, commercial director of WildBrain CPLG Middle East, said the video game’s “rich world” and “impressive international fan-base” makes it “ideally positioned for location-based entertainment partnerships”.

“Osool Entertainment has an exciting portfolio of top-class adventure courses and we look forward to seeing visitors live out their own action-packed, stealthy Assassin’s Creed-themed adventures when the attractions open their doors this spring,” added Law.

Mohammed Al Shethry, CEO and co-founder of Osool Entertainment, said: “At Osool, we are constantly engaged in developing world-class entertainment venues locally.

“Inspired by international standards, we endeavour to deliver a fulfilling experience to our visitors,” added Al Shethry. “Safety, combined with creativity and innovation, is at the heart of Osool’s vision.

“This empowering partnership with Ubisoft and WildBrain CPLG allows us to excel in our mission to provide quality entertainment in Saudi Arabia.”

Ubisoft recently resurrected its classic video game Prince of Persia for a virtual reality (VR) escape room titled ‘Prince of Persia: The Dagger of Time‘.

The Dagger of Time is Ubisoft’s third VR escape room, following Beyond Medusa’s Gate and Escape the Lost Pyramid, which are both set in the world of Assassin’s Creed.
