Innovative Leisure installs Sky Trail at West Park Leisure Centre

Innovative Leisure, a leading supplier of adventure attractions, has added a new Sky Trail high ropes course at West Park Leisure Centre, UK.

Innovative Leisure is pleased to announce the location of its latest Sky Trail high ropes course, which has been entertaining visitors at West Park Leisure Centre in Long Eaton, Nottingham, UK, since it opened just before Christmas 2019. This is a popular leisure venue which also offers a range of other sporting activities.

West Park Leisure Centre is managed and operated by Parkwood Leisure under its Leisure Centre brand. The company also manages other venues in the region including Victoria Park Leisure Centre, Rutland Park Sports Ground and Sandiacre Sports Centre. This new installation is part of an investment in the centre’s facilities, in partnership with the local council.

It offers a range of fun elements to challenge and entertain guests of all ages. The installation is the first in the UK to include RCI Adventure Products new Roller Rail element. Here, visitors sit in a harness and pull themselves across using hanging ropes.

Justin Palfrey is Assistant Regional Director – North and Midlands for Parkwood Leisure. He says: “This is a great new attraction for the whole family and compliments facilities at West Park LC. If our customers are looking for an adrenaline rush, they can rise to the challenge and navigate around the rope, bridge and beam course.”

The Managing Director of Innovative Leisure, Phil Pickersgill, adds: “We are increasingly seeing local authorities and operational partners such as Parkwood Leisure looking to alternative leisure activities to offer their customers.

“The new high ropes course at West Park Leisure Centre is a perfect example of this and brings to the venue another fun, physically challenging activity which will appeal to the whole family. It’s something children of all ages can participate in with their parents too, so fits extremely well with all the other facilities available. We are delighted to have completed the project and to now see it being enjoyed by visitors to the leisure centre.”

Last year, Innovative Leisure also opened a new Sky Trail high ropes course and climbing tower at Mote Park Outdoor Adventure in Maidstone, England.
