Intercard, the cashless technology specialist, has announced it will be showcasing The Edge Mobile Collection at two upcoming trade shows. Intercard will be at DEAL 2019 and Amusement Expo 2019, demonstrating the industry’s first collection of mobile management tools.

The Edge Mobile Collection follows on from the success of iService, the industry’s first mobile management app which Intercard launched in 2017. iService provides an easy way to track and manage every arcade game over multiple locations. Users can use the app to put games out of service remotely. It can also be used by technicians to keep track of repair information. Intercard has now added two more apps to work alongside iService to make one mobile collection; Intercard Upshot and the Inventory app.

Intercard Upshot is a card management app. FEC proprietors can add their own branding to this customer-facing app, which allows users to add value to multiple game cards on their mobile device. This means players don’t need to visit a kiosk to recharge cards, and can game uninterrupted.

The Inventory app helps users to monitor merchandise and allows easy access to inventory logs. Staff can check and adjust inventory within the app, on any Android or iOS mobile device. “The mobile future is here,” says Scott Sherrod, CEO of Intercard, “and The Edge lets operators make the most of it.”

The Dubai Entertainment Amusement & Leisure Exhibition in 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of this annual trade show at the World Trade Centre in Dubai. Intercard will be present at booth #D73 in Hall 4, where visitors can try the new collection of apps for themselves.

“Intercard has been leading the way with cashless technology in the Middle East since Encounter Zone, the first FEC in the region, opened in Wafi Mall in Dubai more than 20 years ago,” says Alberto Borrero, Intercard senior vice-president of international sales. “Encounter Zone featured the region’s first debit card system, and Intercard’s continued innovations and renowned customer service have made its technology the most-used in the market.”

Intercard will also be presenting The Edge Mobile Collection at Amusement Expo 2019 in Las Vegas. The company will be at a newly-redesigned show booth (#1013) and will offer visitors a chance to demo the new apps in comfort. Bill Allen, North American sales manager at Intercard is confident that the app will be a useful tool for trade professionals, “The Edge Mobile App Collection allows users of Intercard cashless management systems to manage everything from marketing to game sales to redemption inventory whenever and from wherever they want.”

Cashless payment technologies from Intercard are already having a positive impact on revenue in the FEC sector. The company is growing its business around the world and recently hired a new customer service advocate to assist businesses in transitioning to cashless systems.
