Intercard, a leader in cashless technology for the attractions and amusement industry, has announced it will be showcasing its new collection of mobile apps, The Edge, when it heads to IAAPA Expo Asia 2019.
Intercard is among over 400 exhibitors currently gearing up for the premier international business event for attractions industry professionals in the Asia Pacific region. The exhibition takes place from the 12th – 14th June, with a trade show floor of 13,000 square metres. More than 8,500 attendees from all over the world are expected at the event, which takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Attendees can experience the latest innovations in cashless technology when they call at Intercard’s booth. The company has also announced a new offer specially for the event. Anyone who signs a contract during the trade show will receive a free Balance and Recycle Station worth $649.
Visitors to Intercard’s booth can enjoy a demo of its enhanced Edge Mobile Apps Collection, the amusement industry’s first collection of mobile management tools. The team will be lead by Intercard’s Asia Pacific sales manager, Jerry Heinz. “The mobile future is here,” says Heinz, “and The Edge lets operators make the most of it.”
The Edge Mobile Apps Collection follows the release of iService in 2017, which was the industry’s first mobile management app. iService allows business owners to easily track and manage every arcade game, even over mulitple locations. They can remotely put a game out of service for maintenance and technicians can also make use of the app to track repair information. All information is automatically updated and held safely on the server and in the cloud.
Now two new apps have joined iService to form The Edge Mobile Apps Collection. This means than Intercard’s customers can do even more with mobile technology. The first new app, Intercard Upshot, is a customer-facing app that businesses can provide under their own brand. It lets guests add value to multiple game cards straight from their mobile device, without having to stop game play and find a kiosk to top up.
The second new app, the Inventory app, makes it easy for staff to maintain their merchandise and redemption inventory. It includes easy access to inventory logs and the ability to adjust inventory, direct from an Android or iOS mobile device. This new app reduces the labour and equipment cost of inventory management and also helps to eliminate mistakes.
Heinz will be available to demo the Edge Mobile Apps Collection and other Intercard products at booth #1226.
Intercard has recently installed its latest systems at all four Farah family entertainment centres in Qatar, meaning that visitors can now pay for the rides, games and attractions using the company’s seamless cashless technology.
