Interspectral partners Science Centre Holdings to premiere 3D Inside Explorer Table at AAE 2017

Swedish visualisation company, Interspectral, has teamed up with Science Centre Holdings (SCH) to debut its Inside Explorer Table at the Asian Attractions Expo in Singapore.

The Inside Explorer Table is an interactive 3D learning tool that gives users the opportunity to see inside almost any object that has been scanned with 3D x-ray. This could include anything from an Egyptian mummy to a tree; from a Martian meteorite to the human body.

Unlike many exhibits, the images are created from complex and authentic scientific data. Visitors can explore and virtually dissect each presented object using touch gestures in a highly accessible and engaging way.

SCH will be an official agent of the Interspectral-designed product when it premieres at the show this week.

Science Centre Singapore already houses three Inside Explorer Tables offering visitors of all ages an absorbing and intuitive learning experience.

“Science Centre Holdings is always exploring various ways to promote science and make the journey of learning science experiential and interactive,” explains Michael Chay, Science Centre Holdings.

“The Inside Explore Table is one such experience that invites learning in a fun and intuitive way. The wide genre of content it covers caters to different types of visitors with different interests. We are glad that we can now make this exhibit available and accessible to other establishments we know.”

The interactive system is currently delivering a deeper understanding at museums, science centres and other institutions in 15 countries. Among them are the British Museum and the National Museum of Science + Industry and the newly opened Frost Science museum.

“We are very excited to make the Inside Explorer Table more accessible for the Asian market,” adds Thomas Rydell, CEO of Interspectral.

“Science Centre Holdings is a perfect partner for us because of their position as the market leader in Asia for quality science enrichment products.”
