Play Mart International, one of the most recognized brands for family entertainment centres and quality indoor playgrounds in Europe, and iPlayCO, leading play structure manufacturer, are promoting TAG Interactives ahead of IAAPA Expo Asia 2019 in Shanghai.
iPlayCO will be promoting its new TAG Interactives at the trade show, following Play Mart’s successful install of the first TAG Active attraction. IAAPA Expo Asia is the biggest international business event for attractions industry professionals in the Asia Pacific region. More than 8,500 attendees from all over the world are expected at the event which takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from the 12th – 14th June.
TAG Active confirmed a worldwide distribution agreement with iPlayCO at the end of 2018. Play Mart completed the first installation at Ninja Tag Active Zoetermeer.
TAG Active is a fun, strategic and fast-paced challenge. The physical interactive game is played within an arena, consisting of a variety of events, challenges and obstacles. Players can take these on in any order they prefer. Each event has a hidden coloured lightbox, called a transponder. The colour represents a different points value, and players aim to collect points by reaching as many of these transponders as they can, to top the leaderboard. The harder the challenge, the more points are available from the transponder at the end of it.
Points are collected via player’s wristbands and displayed on a giant scoreboard within the arena that constantly updates during the game to reflect who is in the lead. There is no maximum score. By using their skills and strategising, players are able to try and beat their score on their next visit. Wristbands can be kept as a souvenir and re-used on further visits to keep track of player’s all-time best scores.

Attendees at IAAPA Asia Expo can find iPlayCO at booth #2102, where it will be promoting its trampolines as well as TAG Interactives. The company recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.
