Geotourist create walking tour app for Keane in Hastings

Geotourist have launched 3 walking tours in Battle, Bexhill and Hastings inspired by the band Keane.Ā 

The tours will take users through 1066 Country, where Keane originated from. The band rose to fame with their 2004 song, ‘Somewhere only we know’.

The tours have been createdĀ in partnership with 1066 Country Marketing and the Battle Marketing Group to bring a more recent history of the area to life.

The trails are suitable for fans of Keane but also those new to the music of the band. The trails can give enthusiasts aĀ better understand the impact that the local area had on both the band and their work. But the trails also create a new opportunity to uncover more about the band and see how 1066 Country continues to play a key part in the UKā€™s heritage ā€“ from history to pop culture.

The tours take in points of importance to the band and their journey to music stardom, as well as the locations behind the lyrics.
