The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is to host its first Easter festival themed on Beatrix Potter’s much-loved character, Peter Rabbit.
Global licensing agent for Peter Rabbit™, Silvergate Media, has brokered the deal on behalf of Penguin Ventures (part of Penguin Random House UK).
The intention is to encourage visitors of all ages to explore the fascinating world of fruit, vegetables and other edible plants, while learning how they are grown.
Activities on offer include a number of Peter Rabbit-inspired giant games and the chance to take fun photos at special Peter Rabbit selfie boards. Visitors will also be able to purchase licensed merchandise in the Kew shop.

Wakehurst, Kew’s wild botanic garden in West Sussex, will also be hosting its own Easter festival, Peter Rabbit™ Goes Wild.
The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is a world-renowned scientific organisation and major tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2003.
