Laservision scoops three honours at the prestigious International Business Awards

Laservision Mega Media, creators of unique and unforgettable sensory experiences, has been awarded a Guinness World Record for its latest IMAGINE spectacular in Dubai.

‘A Child’s Dream’ was officially named the “World’s Largest Permanent Projection Mapping”.

The show takes viewers on a journey through the vibrant imagination of a young child. Dynamic fountains conjure up liquid sculptures evoking aeroplanes, magical whales, optical illusions and giant dancing robots. The visual spectacle is choreographed to a musical score encompassing modern pop, rock, and electronic music.

Spanning over 20 acres, IMAGINE is a permanent multimedia installation that lights up the waterfront of Dubai Festival City Mall, 365 days a year. Festival Bay and the iconic InterContinental Hotel are transformed after sunset with projection-mapping, high-definition video and water-screens boasting a total projection area of 1800 square metres. Other features include dynamic fountains, lasers, surround-sound, intelligent lighting, and powerful flame effects.

‘A Child’s Dream’ is the second IMAGINE multimedia show. The first, ‘Stardancer’, was awarded a Guinness World Record for ‘World’s Largest Water-screen Projection’. ‘Stardancer’ was also created by Laservision.

“We are exceptionally proud of our creative and technical teams for creating a truly vibrant and colourful adventure into a child’s imagination,” commented Shannon Brooks, CEO Laservision.

“It is energetic, playful and really shows off our latest offering of technologies with its incredible colour palettes and rich visual content.”

IMAGINE spectaculars are free to view at Dubai Festival City. They have been designed to appeal to international audiences of all ages.
