Leisure Development Partners (LDP), a leading consulting practice focused on leisure and entertainment real estate, recently attended the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo (SEA) 2020, where two of its partners were engaged to speak.

James Kennard of LDP speaking at MAPIC 2019Leisure Development Partners (LDP) was pleased to attend SEA 2020, where partners James Kennard and Yael Coifman had been invited to share their expertise in the industry.

Kennard’s talk was entitled ‘Examining Global Emerging Trends and Concepts Across the
Entertainment and Leisure Industry’. Coifman spoke about ‘The Attraction Development Process and Key Things to Consider’. This was held over two evenings, with Coifman teaming up with Bob Chambers of The Producers Group (TPG) for the second evening.

Sharing expert insights

While this was the company’s first speaking engagement of 2020, it had a busy year in 2019, with team members speaking at a wide range of industry events and expos. These included IAAPA Expo Europe in Paris, IAAPA IAM in Singapore, MAPIC in Cannes, the Family Attractions Expo in the UK, and IAAPA Expo Orlando, among others.

LDP also has several speaking engagements at industry conferences and expos lined up for this year, for example, MIPIM in Cannes in March, IAAPA Expo Asia in June and IAAPA IAM in the summer. LDP feels it is important to actively participate in the attractions’ industry on all levels, not just as market leaders in feasibility and leisure economics.

The team is passionate about the attractions industry and is happy to share and impart its knowledge at industry events, in order to help the sector continue to grow and evolve.

“The nature of LDPs work means we look to the future of the attractions’ industry, often spotting trends before they become mainstream,” said Frea Nunn, Team & Marketing Coordinator. “We strongly feel that leading companies within the attractions’ industry sharing knowledge at events and expos are of high value to the industry. We will continue to participate at events for as long as the invitations to speak keep coming!”
