Listen Technologies, provider of assistive listening, multi-language audio transmission and live streaming audio solutions, has partnered with Avidex in Greece.

Listen Technologies is pleased to announce that it has partnered with a new AV distributor and integrator in Greece. Avidex will distribute Listen Technologies’ products, such as its wireless listening solutions, to businesses and venues across the country.

Avidex has over 20 years of experience in meeting the AV needs of a variety of operators in Greece, from private corporations and commercial facilities to education and cultural foundations.

Meeting the needs of clients

“Avidex shares Listen Technologies’ passion for delivering outstanding customer service and meeting the unique needs of each client,” said Flemming Bjerke, vice president of business development and managing director of Listen Europe, Listen Technologies.

“We are excited to partner with Avidex to bring clear audio solutions to market in Greece, especially as businesses and venues adapt to physical distancing and mask requirements intended to promote safety.”

While social distancing and face masks are a necessity due to the global pandemic, these can create barriers to communication. The wireless audio solutions provided by Listen Technologies can help operators and businesses to overcome the challenges of distance, masks, background noise, and hearing loss. This allows people to hear clearly, engage and stay safe.

Wireless communication solutions

Products include ListenTALK, a mobile two-way communication system that enables group communication up to 200 metres away, even while users are wearing masks. The units are simple to clean and are a good choice for manufacturing and office environments.

Listen EVERYWHERE streams audio over Wi-Fi to personal smartphones and Bluetooth-enabled hearing aids. This is ideal for drive-in attractions, graduations, worship services and more. Meanwhile, ListenIR uses infrared (IR) technology to transmit and receive audio where audio needs to be private. For instance, in courtrooms, boardrooms, and adjacent classrooms.

“We are pleased to cooperate with Listen Technologies and distribute their products in Greece,” said Fenia Karkantzou, marketing coordinator, Avidex.

“Listen Technologies’ product portfolio offers clear and smart system solutions to group communication issues. We firmly believe that this partnership will have a positive impact in the Greek market, and despite the pandemic, Listen Technologies products will find their expected response.”

Earlier this year, Listen Technologies named Sam Nord as the new Vice President of Global Sales.
