The new Galapagos expansion will showcase Houston Zoo’s goal of providing a great educational and fun guest experience with a strong conservation message. It is part of a larger 20-year transformation master plan for the zoo, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022.

This unique new exhibit will be home to sea lions, sharks, giant tortoises and more. It will immerse guests in the unique ecosystem of the Galapagos, highlighting the need for conservation action as well as showing the zoo’s ongoing field work with giant tortoises, birds, and marine animals.

Longhorn Organics is also working with Fort Worth Zoo on its $100-million ‘A Wilder Vision’ capital campaign, which will include new exhibit spaces, renovated habitats and more.
