Mattel Play! Sevenum has opened to today with branded indoor play featuring popular Mattel characters including Thomas & Friends™, Fireman Sam™, Bob the Builder™, Angelina Ballerina™ and MEGA™.
Mattel Play! Sevenum is the third Mattel Play! location, and the first permanent attraction of its kind in mainland Europe. Successful attractions Mattel Play! Liverpool and Mattel Play! Town Dubai launched in 2016 and are managed and operated by Heritage Great Britain PLC and Meraas respectively.

Mattel, Inc. worked closely with Lappset Creative, specialists in the design and turnkey supply of themed attractions, to create the themed, interactive, indoor family entertainment centre. Lappset Creative also worked with Mattel on Mattel Play! Liverpool. The Finnish company recently signed a deal with Merlin Entertainments to create themed soft play attractions aimed at the pre-school market.
The Mattel Play! Sevenum attraction is located at the De Schatberg resort in the South East of Holland. The 2,000 sqm purpose built attraction is part of a larger ‘Family Entertainment Centre Sevenum’. Next door is The Portal Action House, an innovative play centre for 8 to 16 year olds and new concept also conceived, designed and built by Lappset Creative.
