Danish attractions specialist, MK Themed Attractions, has provided chirpy chicken theming for the world’s first Roller Ball coaster.

The Roller Ball coaster at Germany’s Schwaben Park has opened under the name ‘Wilde Hilde’.

Manufactured by Ride Engineers Switzerland, the first-of-its-kind attraction carries riders 25 metres into the air before propelling them back down the snaking track. The gondolas swing freely but they don’t turn upside down, ensuring a family-friendly experience.

Schwaben Park selected MK Themed Attractions to produce seven chickens and one rooster based on the park’s existing technical drawings. The fibreglass chickens perch on the ride structure and watch the riders on their journey.

“One of our specialties is our ability to produce decoration for themed attractions using the client’s technical specifications,” explains Lars Nielsen, Themed Attraction Specialist at MK Themed Attractions.

“We were thrilled when Schwaben Park chose us to turn their vision into reality for this original theme.”

Schwaben Park’s Managing Director, Thomas Hudelmaier, is delighted with the new ride and its characterful theming.

“We wanted a roller coaster that would be fun for the whole family and a theme that matched,” comments Hudelmaier.

“MK Themed Attractions had demonstrated their high standard for themed production at many other parks in Germany, so we felt safe by choosing them as our supplier for this brand new ride, the first of its kind in the world!”
