New experiences at Walt Disney World for 2019

Walt Disney World, Orlando, is debuting all new experiences across its parks in the 2019 season.

The park has announced new experiences across all of its parks, as well as improvements to long standing events.

Magic Kingdom: Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration

January 18 will mark the start of Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration at Magic Kingdom Park. The event will celebrate Mickey and Minnie with new entertainment, merchandise and speciality food and beverage.

The new “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” will be the highlight of the celebration. It will be a parade travelling up Main Street, U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle. The parade features characters including Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Max, Chip ’n Dale and others.

From January 18 to September 30, the Dapper Dans and the Casey’s Corner piano player will create special musical moments throughout the day.

Hollywood Studios: Party with Pixar Pals

Hollywood Studios will celebrate its 30th anniversary on May 1.

Starting from January18, Pixar Place will become a Municiberg city block from Pixar’s Incredibles films.

Guests will meet super suit designer Edna Mode, look for clues to the whereabouts of the youngest Incredible, and celebrate the heroic deeds of Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone.

There will be appearances throughout the day from the Incredibles characters. There will also be a party featuring lively music, dancing, interactive games and lots more Super fun.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also welcome Mike and Sulley from Pixar’s Monsters, Inc.

In spring 2019, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new show will bring guests face to face with Lightning McQueen.

Animal Kingdom: Celebrate The Lion King

In 2019, guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be able to celebrate 25 years since the release ofthe classic animated film.

From January 18 to September 30, guests will be able to participate in the “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party.” Timon and Rafiki will engage everyone in entertaining dances and games inspired by “The Lion King.”

The park will also introduce new three-dimensional photo opportunities at the park, allowing guests to re-create iconic “Lion King” moments ideal for sharing on social media platforms.

Epcot: Arts and Flower & Garden Festivals

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will run between January 18 and February 25. Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in world-class cuisine, remarkable visual art and live entertainment.

The Disney on Broadway Concert Series will expand to seven days a week during the festival. Each week, a different pair of Disney on Broadway performers will sing classic songs from award-winning Disney on Broadway productions.

The 2019 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival returns from  March 6 to June 3. The event will feature outdoor kitchens and Disney-themed topiaries.

The Garden Rocks Concert Series will also expand to seven days a week in 2019. Garden Rocks will deliver 3 concerts per day.

Disney is also set to replace Illuminations with a new nightly entertainment show on the World Showcase Lagoon.

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will come to and end of the 2019 summer period is up. The show debuted in October 1999 as part of the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration. Since then, the show has entertained millions of guests.
