Expressions of Interest are invited from contractors interested in tendering for natural terrain hazard mitigation works at Hong Kong’s Ocean Park.

Ocean Park Corporation is looking to engage a contractor to carry out the natural terrain hazard mitigation works for Hong Kong’s first year-round, all-weather water-park at Tai Shue Wan.

Covering an area of over 693,000 square feet, the Water World project at Ocean Park will include a variety of indoor and outdoor attractions.

The scope of works will comprise general site clearance and the design, supply and installation of flexible gabion walls.  It will also include in-situ stabilisation of unstable rock outcrop or boulders (using rock dowels, concrete buttresses, rock mesh etc.).  Soil slope stabilisation will be required with soil nail, shotcrete and erosion control mat.  There will be other various minor concrete elements.

The work is expected to be carried out between December 2017 and November 2018.

Expressions of Interest should be submitted by 3.30pm on 25th August 2017.
